Craft fair, shopping, movies
Today we headed out early to the Blaisdell craft fair.....started at 10am so I thought if we leave at 9am it might be ok. Boy was I wrong! We finally parked at like 10:30. It was crazy busy. When its so busy like that, I feel like a zombie just walking amongst everyone. It was hard to even get to a booth and look at the crafts. The busyness really hurts sales I feel cause people end up bypassing booths cause theres too many people. Now that I read that sentence, it doesnt make sense. But I passed a lot of booths that I may have even bought something if I could just get to it. I did manage to find a couple gifts...mostly shirts and Jaylene bought more earrings. Eric was getting antsy already halfway through. I dont blame him. I guess I should have gone by myself. After that, we ate lunch and headed to Pearlridge. We spoiled the kids and took them to see Tangled. It was a great family movie!! Very funny, cute, sad and really portrayed the importance of loyalty. Both the kids really loved it, as did I. I even cried in some parts...And the main cartoon guy is very handsome!! lol! The music was cute too....the supporting characters were awesome too, like the chameleon!! Too cute! We decided to spoil the kids even more and took them to fun factory. Always a fun time....then we got self serve frozen yogurt at Cherry on Top in Pearl City. We usually go to Menchies, but I wanted to go to Petco, which by the way, some of their prices are outrageous! Having animals is just too costly.....even caged animals......rabbit cages need cleaned once a week, but I clean her litter box daily(it gets real stinky), guinea pigs eat tons of hay, like a lot of hay....I guess I should have thought of these things before we purchased them huh? But I have learned that pets are for life....through the good and bad. They are such a blessing and they really humble me. I love how Cody is so happy when I buy him a new bed every Christmas, how Roxy gets super excited when I'm holding a bag and tell her I bought her something(she knows its a new toy, she is a toy fanatic)I love how the guineas squeal when I come to their cage with veggies, and how Sophie pushes up with her nose when I pet her right before feeding her.....these things are so special to me. I am so thankful to the Lord for all that He has provided, and that we are able to enjoy the fun things in life.I am thankful for the family He has blessed me with, each and every family member.I am thankful for the wonderful friends He has put in my life, each of which has taught me or touched me in different ways.I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!! Have fun shopping and stay sane!
